What does practice-oriented program stand for?
In Cotrugli we understand that the ready made formulas do not work in fluctuating business world. Therefore, we welcome real-life case studies, group discussions, and team work. To enforce the interaction, the EMBA group is divided into teams of five. While working in teams, you will face a vast number of issues and questions that will make you think, and challenge the way you solve real-life challenges at your own work place. Every Monday morning after the module, you return to the office with new solutions of how to lead your company further. These skills and virtues you will learn in the company of the most perspective businessmen and leaders, and the world’s best experts.
Who are EMBA candidates?
EMBA candidates are successful managers, leaders, and forward-looking entrepreneurs with significant professional experience, fluent in English who share an ambition to make a difference. Average age of the participants is 35. Economic background is not mandatory; our participants come from different professional backgrounds; from engineers and doctors to consultants and bankers.
How can I apply?
We approach each candidate individually to their strengths, achievements and scan their potential. What is the duration of EMBA program?
This part-time program takes 22 months to complete. On average, the modules take place once a month, generally from Thursday to Sunday in Zagreb. Few more intense modules and field trips take place on Adriatic coast and in Europe.
How are the modules organized?
The modules take place from 9 am – 7 pm, and are divided into several sessions. After each interactive lecture held by a faculty member participants work on projects in small teams where they compare the presented best-practice with the practice they apply at work. Questions and discussions are raised, exchanging ideas and challenging the perspectives begins!
How are the exams organized?
The exams are structured in a form of projects and case studies. These are commonly based on the projects you pass from your office and bring onto the EMBA table. Before, after, and during the module, together with your fellow teammates you solve real-life cases to meet your exam requirements.
How close am I linked to the professors?
Cotrugli lectures are always happy to assist you and advice during or after the module, or while away between their visits to Croatia. You can engage in an on-line discussion or arrange a one to one meeting with the professor. How can I take advantage of networking?
